About Bookneck
Bookneck is a tiny travelling second-hand indie bookshop based on the Mornington Peninsula, founded by Carolyn Watson and David Moore.
Built on the back of a Japanese kei truck named Pippi, Bookneck brings carefully chosen books to markets, cafés, festivals and unexpected places across the Peninsula.
But Bookneck is about more than selling books. Through literary gatherings, author programmes, children’s storytelling, pop-up bookshops and community collaborations, it creates thoughtful ways for people to gather around books, stories and one another.
At its heart, Bookneck is interested in curiosity, conversation and the unexpected connections that happen when people are given something meaningful to gather around.
